At least two people were injured, a news report said. Twenty-two vehicles were directly involved in the crash, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted following reports of 75 vehicles involved in the crash. Many other vehicles that were not directly involved in the crash were backed up on the highway, he tweeted. https://twitter.com/NWSBUFFALO/status/948254186105434114 The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning until 1am Wednesday for the region amid bands of lake-effect snow.
